She does not enter a room so much as darken its exits.

Shade began as a thief in a city of thieves, but coin alone was never enough. She learned to steal what men guarded more poorly than gold: routes, names, debts, ledgers, loyalties, and the fragile belief that power belongs only to those who sit openly at the table.

PORT KAR MADE HER
Canals, knives, ship shadowed alleys, and survival shaped her into something more cunning than a cutpurse.

THE BLACK COIN SYNDICATE
Through thieves, smugglers, scribes, dockmen, and merchants, Shade learned that stolen goods become lawful once the right hand signs for them.

THE DRIFT
Fog veiled and politically fragile, the Drift became one of her favored grounds.

THE FALL
The Council of Captains found the trail she thought she had buried, and what followed was flight, rain, broken safehouses, traps, tarn passage, and return to Kar.

RETURNED TO KAR
Returned to Port Kar as a captive, Shade faced the Council of Captains to answer their questions about the prior First Sword of Port Kar. She avoided her trial as the Betrayer by submitting to Dreamer Da'Soul.

OOC NOTE
TLDR: This is roleplay, not reality, but I don't just roleplay certain things with just anyone.

Shade of Kar is a piece of me, not all of me. The character may lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, seduce, deceive, and act as a thief in the world of Gor, but that is not a reflection of the player.

I prefer communication before anything deeply altering is done to another character, and I will offer the same respect in return. If you are comfortable with thief-based consequences, feel free to tell me ahead of time; otherwise, I will usually ask before taking a scene that far.

This fantasy setting may involve darker power dynamics, Gorean themes, and BDSM-adjacent storytelling, but boundaries still matter. Unless discussed clearly ahead of time, I prefer sexual or highly charged scenes with Shade to remain with characters presented as male, especially where Master, dominant, or strongly masculine dynamics are involved. No one needs to disclose anything OOC; I only ask that this boundary be respected. Normal scenes of intrigue, conflict, business, friendship, and story are welcome with anyone.
