"Personally Identifiable Information" (PII), as used in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.

We do not keep any Personally Identifiable Information other than what you voluntarily provide. This includes your email address, if you contact us or provide it as part of a membership purchase; and your IP address, when you request web pages or post to the forums or in a chat room. We will not share, sell, or rent your email address or IP address to anyone. EVER! If you purchase a membership, your credit card information is submitted DIRECTLY to our credit card gateway and is not stored on our server. We simply recieve an "Approved" or "Declined" notification and proceed from there.

We will use your email address to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us, or to notify you of changes to your membership status or expiration. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

ALL sites log IP addresses, even if the server administrator isn't aware of it. We do not use your IP address in any fashion, other than to protect Portal of Dreams and it's community by removing (banning) an individual what we feel has violated site policy or rules.

No, an IP address is not PII. In order for Personally Identifiable Information to be personally identifiable, it must identify a person. An IP address only identifies a computer that is connected to an Internet Service Provider. Only law enforcement has any type of justification to re-link an IP address to an account holder.

• Have us delete any information contained in your membership.
• Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

We take your privacy seriously and take precautions to protect your information. Your member information is kept secure at all times. We happily pay for quarterly scans of our server to ensure that there are no possible vulnerabilities, and are proud to have an adaptive firewall to protect our servers.

Portal of Dreams uses a modern day Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate. Our SSL certificate is provided by GoDaddy, one of the most reputable certificate providers around. Portal of Dreams is encrypted with a 256-bit military grade encryption key, and is authenticated using a 2048 bit SHA-256 and RSA key exchange mechanism.
