SoA: Mojave Desert is a Site GRP Room based on the TV Show Sons of Anarchy. This home is here to bring people together who love the show and want to roleplay out various scenarios that might happen within that type of setting.
It is important to know that because this is a roleplay venue, there will of course be differences between the show and what happens here in SoA: Mojave Desert. There might be some similarities, but there will of course be major differences, however, that doesn’t mean you can just make things up all willy nilly. That also means we cannot follow the show(s) to a T. If you want to act out the show scene by scene as it’s played out on TV, then this is not the place for you to come roleplay. If you wish to create characters or plots using various characters or factions, then this is the place for you.

Golden Rule: Treat others as you'd want to be treated. Now it's understood in character play is different but out of character please be respectful. The PoD Senior Staff are here to help and provide assistance to everyone where possible. We do however, not accept, nor tolerate, any rudeness, hostility, or bigotry towards anyone inside the room. Continued abuse or inciting behaviour will result in a room ban.
Don't Stalk: Don't ask personal information, don't try to corner particular writers in etc. Everybody needs to be able to breathe. It's none of your business who they are mated to or anything real life.
There will be no use of Canon Characters within this home. No one wants a table full of Jax Teller Clones. Be original, be creative, be you. What we like to see are characters that have depth. That have a reason for being the characters they are. We aren't looking for the biggest bad-ass since Sylvester Stallone. We want insightful, interesting histories and personalities that will not only fit with our story but make sense in the SoA universe.
Don't Godmod: You can not control another player or speak for another player without their prior permission. There are no superheroes here. You cannot dominate everything. YOU ARE NOT GOD. Jax is not GOD, if he was then Opie would not have died in the show! You cannot dodge everything. You cannot outrun everything. You aren't SUPERMAN. You aren't the most beautiful creature on the planet, even if Jax tells you, you are, he's just trying to get in your panties.
Sex is permitted but most people get all uncomfortable when it's rp'd right on main chat. We could care less honestly but have respect for your fellow rpers, take that to pm please.
Don't take a major character and refuse to rp with anyone but one or two people. It's bad for morale and if you want to just be in your own bubble then maybe a role-play chat isn't for you. We're a community of people who come together to write and make some cool things happen. It's understood that some people put forth no effort, but there are ones that are trying to get you to rp storylines, please do help them out.
The concept of consequences. That means if you stab a guy for whatever reason in the middle of a busy bar in it's busiest time, then there's going to be consequences. Even if you do initially escape, then there will be retribution. Arrests, beatdowns, or even prison. Sometimes there will be even worse. Just like real life there are consequences. Just because you are a bad ass biker, doesn't mean you are exempt from the rule. Even Jax Teller goes to Prison.
