Obsidian Moon is an Advanced Roleplay room that is based on the writings of Laurell K. Hamilton. It's a modern setting and the government's ban on Vampires, Fae, and Lycans to coexist with humans has been lifted. There -are- strict guidelines though that each race much follow for the world to successfully co-habitate. New York City has become the Mecca for all things supernatural. Vampires, Lycans, and Fae alike have found the rush of the city and it's inhabitants to be more accepting than other places of things that are beyond their imagination. What is the "odd" and "unexplained" other places, has simply become second nature here. All of these things combine to make New York City a place where the supernatural can not only enjoy a calm accepted life, but has also become the forefront of many a war raged between the races.
All in all, life goes on as usual.
Well, maybe there's a little more excitement here in New York. But then again, hasn't there always been?
