The Sardar Fair

Welcome to the Sardar Fair, where even Gorean adversaries can enjoy the peace and excitement of the fair grounds during the dates listed below:

Fair of En'Kara - March 24 - 31
Fair of En'Var - June 22 - 30
Fair of Se'Kara - Sept 22 - 30
Fair of Se'Var - Dec. 21 - 31

During the dates above the Fair is considered "In Session" and will fall under the rules which can be found by clicking the link above.

"It is not permitted to fight, or kill, or enslave within the perimeters of the fairs, but there is no prohibition against the buying and selling of merchandise within those precincts; indeed, one of the main functions of the fairs, if not their main function, was to facilitate the buying and selling of goods; the slave, of course, is goods." -Beasts of Gor

The Sardar Fair is the melting pot of Gorean civilization. Upon its dirt streets you may find men of Torvaldsland bidding upon slave flesh at the great sales pavilion, Wagon Peoples standing yards away from Turians, Red Hunters selling intricately carved scrimshaw, men of the Tahari leading stately sand kailla, and black-skinned merchants of the Schendi selling exotic birds. Here, Merchant Law is drafted and stabilized, Caste conventions are held, the Gorean language is standardized by Scribes, and treaties between warring nations are signed. For the duration of the Fairs, Caste distinctions and political affiliations are often quite relaxed. The delights of jugglers, fire-eaters, magicians, musicians, puppeteers, and food vendors might be equally enjoyed by all walks of life. Here, too, you may see young men and women complete their pilgrimage to the Sardar to pay honor to Priest-Kings - or sold from its platforms in the chains of the brigands and slavers who pillaged their caravans.

NOTE: The Sardar Fair is a SAFE ZONE during the above listed dates ONLY.
