ROOM RULES:

While the SAFE ZONE of the Sardar Fair is in effect, the following rules must be followed:

1. Anons and Observers Anonymous names, as well as improperly themed named (like Vampire Slayer!) are not in good taste, so please refrain from using them. You are free to silently observe, meditate or quietly learn. We won't hold it against you, so long as you are practicing good manners and using your roleplay name! Once you break your silence, in any fashion, you are fair game and subject to the harsh realities of this room.

2. No Priest-Kings or Kurii. Priest-Kings do not venture down from their hidden mountain lair to stroll around the fair and chat with the Initiates, and Kurii do not venture this close to the Nest. Anyone entering the fair as a Priest-King or a Kur will be considered to have violated rule #1 and will be dealt with accordingly.

3. No excessive OOC. Keep out-of-character conversations private to avoid disrupting role-play, or else face a boot by PoD Management. Further, you are responsible for every word you utter, whether you consider yourself to be in character or not, and will be held accountable IN CHARACTER.

4. No violence - aside from the discipline of one's personal property. Do unto your own slave as you would elsewhere on Gor; however, someone else's slave cannot be disciplined with any more than a caging, which will need to be posted on PoD's judgment forum for validity and repercussions. Any other violence, for whatever reason, will be nullified by the instantaneous intervention of guards who will promptly eject the offender from the fairgrounds. In such a case, the violator of this rule can feel free to hit the leave button or else face a boot by PoD Management.

5. No captures. At no time can anyone be forced from the fair into another room. Anyone seeking to conduct a captive from the fair has violated rule #4 and will be dealt with accordingly.

6. No forced collars. The fair is not a place to slave hunt. Threatening or bullying a woman or man into submitting is not permitted. "Bare-necked" slaves (i.e., those with lower-cased names and revealing avatars but no collars) will be considered the free women they legally are. Anyone seeking to collar a woman against her wishes has violated rule #4 and will be dealt with accordingly.

7. Free women may feel free to behave and dress in whatever manner they wish. However, speaking or dressing in an inappropriate manner (for example, wearing nude avatars or making sexual comments) can result in the woman being taken to task by other free Goreans. This includes the aforementioned legally free "bare-necked slave." The only permitted manner of taking such a woman to task is caging her, which will need to be posted on PoD's judgment forum for validity and repercussions. Since a woman cannot be forced into a collar while on the fair grounds, repercussions will range from a warning; to a fine of 2 silvers that must be paid before release from the cage; to being banned from the festivities for a particular number of days up to the remainder of the fair; to removal from the safety of the fairgrounds (i.e., the Pilgrim Road pull-down), where she will be subject to GRP rules and can be captured/collared/killed by the Gorean(s) she has offended.

8. NO Outlaw women are permitted in the fair. Panther Girls, Talunas, female Tahari bandits, and any other sort of female Outlaw will be considered inappropriately behaving free women and dealt with per rule #7.

9. Male Outlaws may enjoy the safety of the fairs unmolested, however, for it is well-supported that brigands sold captured women and other loot of their caravan raids within the safety of the fair grounds.

10. ALL cagings need to be posted to the PoD boards and will be judged by the Magistrate. Rules of the room will supercede Gorean laws in making the initial determination of a caging's validity. Once determined to be valid, the consequences will be reasonable norms of Gorean standards.
