Room Rules:
- ENTER AT YOUR OWN PERIL -
You are RESPONSIBLE for every word that you utter and will be held accountable IN CHARACTER for any words you say in the home.
- OBSERVERS -
Observing is allowed. There is no time limit however, interaction in the room other than asking questions etc. will be considered roleplay and bring you into the rules pertaining to that.
OOC commentary is not permitted beyond whispering a representative of the home to ask questions.
First and Foremost - Respect: Leave any drama at the door before entering. Do not bring RT matters and personal grievances into the home. We are all here to enjoy time on Gor, and mutual respect for fellow writers is expected. This rule applies to both visitors and members of the home and will be dealt with swiftly. All that occurs In Character is handled In Character. Let us keep the excitement to In Character shenanigans.
Having said that, if you're the type that thrives on being in or causing in-character drama then go elsewhere. I don't need it. If your roleplay injures the home as a whole in any way, you will be banished. We're in it to support it, not destroy it.
Names and Accountability: Anonymous or inappropriate names are prohibited and will be immediately booted. If you have time to enter, you have time to pick a name.
This is not a beginner-friendly home. While members are willing to teach, it is expected that due diligence has been done and at least a basic understanding of Gor is known. There are plenty of resources and books out there.
* Thought posts can be detected and understood by reading body language. If you think it, you are responsible for it.
Combat: This is a Modified Kill / Capture / Mirror Zone. If we cannot do it in your home, then you cannot do it here. Prodigy is the combat system used in here. Any in-room sparring or combat is subject to the RL's judgment.
Any combat involving the RL will be posted for PoD Judges or an individual jointly agreed upon.
Any death that occurs inside Asgeir walls will be determined valid or not ONLY by Victor. No other judge, local or site wide, may do so.
By entering, the person declared killed had agreed to this statement and may not seek further clarification.
*Due to geographic locale and such, raids are suspended at this time.
WE DO NOT HONOR THE SITE'S STANCE ON DUALLERS. IF YOU FALL UNDER THE OLD CRITERIA FOR DUALLING, AND WE FIND OUT, YOU WILL BE KILLED, AND IF POSSIBLE, SO WILL ALL OF YOUR OTHER CHARACTERS THAT ARE UNDER THAT RULE'S UMBRELLA.
Anyone disseminating information about Asgeir or its people that is not from Asgeir and one of its people, will have their heads returned to their homes as a reward for their treasonous behavior to Asgeir. I don't care if you're free or slave,it stands for all.
IF you have permission to distribute facts about the village and its people prior, then that is different.
Messengers: Special messenger tags are not required to enter. Messages are to be delivered to a FREE Person only. Slaves are not permitted to carry messages on your behalf. No slave will be permitted a PM from any Free not of the home. Period.
Please be prompt in delivering messages and heading on your way.
Character Types:
Anyone is welcome to enter peacefully.
*The Black Caste may use the forest camp for parlay, trade, or acquisition of goods from Asgeir. They will not cross the bridges into the west fields or enter the village proper.
Free Persons: Those entering Asgeir are not required to surrender their weapons to the guards and may keep them on their person. Guards will help defend the Home, members, and property of the Home.
Free Women are not required to wear veils here. They are expected to act appropriately to their station as a free person.
*Panthers are permitted here and are allowed to carry their weapons. They will be regarded as Free Persons. Again, acting like a slave has consequences and can lead to being collared.
Slaves: Visiting collared slaves can only be present in Asgeir with either written permission from their Owner or the slave's Owner present.
Disruptive slaves will be caged and their owners notified.
*Resident slaves of Asgeir can only be punished by a Free of Asgeir. If any are found displeasing, they should be caged in the kennels and a missive sent to a Free Resident of Asgeir.
