-=Tuchuk Wagon Camp Slave Rules=-

1. A slave is property, you have no rights or possessions, absolute obedience and exquisite beauty govern your existence.

2. Slaves NEVER argue with a Free. They may not always be right, but They are NEVER wrong. The slave always has the last word and that is "yes Master/Mistress". If you are having a problem with the Free, continue to show the utmost respect, move on to another area if psosible, script and post it to the board.

3. If you are a Tuchuk slave, then be in Tuchuk when rt permits. There is no traveling unless you are invited to travel with a member of the home or are permitted such by your owner. Keep in mind that if you are being punished then even if a free invites you then you may not go at all.

4. Ok, another one we didn't think we needed, but some things keep popping back up... Slaves WILL NOT sweeten drinks unless the Master/Mistress would care for that drink with sugar or honey. And that doesn't mean slave honey.

5. ALL slaves need to sign up on the message board, they will post chores, lessons, punishments and assignments to the boards with time and date stamp (If applicable). There is no set requirement of chores a week that a slave must accomplish (unless being punished as this may increase that number for you).

6. Greetings. Use common sense. You wouldn't greet someone whose out on the plains if you are sitting in a wagon. Slaves didn't greet willy nilly in the books, but this is an online environment, use your best judgement. If you are not in the same area (pd location) and feel the need to greet, then do so OOC. Also, slaves do not greet visitors/strangers until a free of the home has acknowledged there presence. Again, if there are no free of the home present, then this would not apply.

7. Offering of serves shall be done in a respectful manner, this means, slaves are to kneel a respectable distance from the Free and ask if they may offer service. Do Not yell across Camp as an offering. Again, use a bit of common sense when serving. If someone is already being served, or has just been asked by another slave, then move on to a different free. No need for all the slaves to repeatedly ask the same free if they want a drink, others may be rather parched as well. After all have been tended to, then you may give all your attention to One in particular, see to your chores, or do some roleplay of your choice.

8. All slaves will wash their hands before serving a Free, this is an outside Camp and hands do get dirty. Kinda gross to me if you have been picking dung and then just fetch a drink without washing up first. mmm.. nothing like bits of dried dung floating around in my drink.

9. Slaves are allowed, even expected, to have fun in the Home. This includes engaging in pleasant conversation with Free Persons and other slaves; still, a wise slave knows when to shut up, and weighs each remark carefully so as not to be found displeasing.

10. slaves may touch what would be considered weapons when cooking or healing without first asking a Free, or if told by a Free to fetch or clean a weapon. Any slave using a weapon in any way that insinuates harm to themselves or others is a punishable offense.

11. During a raid try to keep watch of all that is going on, read every post, this way you know what injuries are inflicted to those of the home, what role play is being set up and what is happening all around. Every person of the home will help defend it, free and slave alike.  Pick up whatever is handy and toss it, use it to smack someone, etc. If you are caught, captured, dragged out from the wagon, then of course struggle, defend, try to make a run for it. Whatever first comes natural to you.

12. Jealousy, slave squabbles, dislike for one another. It happens, it happened in the books, it happens in reality. In the books the free didn't care if the slaves fought with one another, in fact they often did just that. As long as the fighting didn't mark up the property too badly, then the Free hardly ever involved themselves with such trivial things. We don't all get along, and we don't expect everyone to, although it would be nice, we know it just isn't always feasible. If you have a problem with a fellow slave, DO NOT bother the free with it. Work it out, fight it out, completely ignore the other slave, whatever works for you.  Just don't go and kill the other slave, as that would be marking up said property and could get you in some bigger trouble than you had hoped for. Do not hesitate to talk about problems with your fellow slaves, they may be able to lend some insight into things and help you deal with the individual you have an issue with.

13. Boards should be checked before coming into camp. This way you know what is going on in the home as well as what chores have already been done, what training you still need to do, or if there was some disaster that ran through the encampment.  Also, if you have created a disaster/ruckus/whatever, script and post it to the board so others might include it in their own rp.

14. This is role play, it should be FUN . What you put into role play is what you get out of it.
