The Unbroken Stronghold

The flag of Minus still flies in the free port of Lydius years after Cimber and the Minus Loyalists marched
south to reclaim their home from the combined force of Trevians and Arian traitors that came to occupy it. Although the
Loyalists were victorious in liberating Minus from the enemy the Unbroken Stronghold remains in operation acting as
a second home for Minusians traveling abroad along with being a base of operations in the continued struggle against Cosian
domination of the trade routes.

Although the City of Ar has also risen up against its Cosian Occupiers with the return of Marlenus, Cos maintains a foothold on the
mainland and has set its sights on lucrative trading routes. So long as Cosian expansion continues on mainland Gor hostile 
action against the Island Ubarates both on land and water is deemed necessary by those aligned with Ar and Minus.

Thus, the mandate for those in Minus remains in effect with efforts now focused on cutting Cos from valuable resources in
the Northern Forest vital to its ship building operations, while hounding its naval and trade fleets sailing Thassa. Attacks
carried out on the high seas are often coordinated within the Stronghold with loot plundered from Cosian vessels stored in
underground vaults away from the public eye before being transported inland. Though the Stronghold in effect supports and
engages in piracy along with the fencing of stolen cargo it maintains a public image as a commercial holding owned and
operated by Minus.

 Lydius is a free port ruled by a council made up of merchants (NPCs). OOCly The Room is owned by V.V. and Chev.

The Unbroken Stronghold is a secondary home to the citizens of Minus. As such entry to the Stronghold is a carefully monitored process.
The Port of Lydius however is accessible to anyone wishing to play there with residency possible. Registering to the forum will be 
required if a player wishes to settle a character permanently in this location.

The Stronghold operations are managed by the Acte family of Lydius with Sythra Acte and her brother, Quintus, acting as stewards
in Cimber's absence. To the public eye the Stronghold serves as merchant holdings belonging to the citizens and merchants of Minus.
While true the Stronghold is also a front for the true purpose of interfering with Cosian trade as it pertains to lumber harvesting and
trade on Thassa.  In effect, pirates, smugglers, and others opposing Cos are given safe harbour here and use of the Stronghold's
docks to avoid tipping off any Lydian authorities that are in Cos' pocket.
