MY BLOGS

During my time offline from 2003 to 2005 I had heard the term blog and was interested in them. Then in 2005 when I came back online I had taken a look at a couple of the blogs mentioned and thought that the blogosphere was the way to go. Then on March 7, 2005 I had started my first ever blog entitled Rick's Rants where I had first gone off on the news stations for their endless, 24/7 coverage of Martha Stewart being released from prison. It was also at that time, unbeknownst to me, that I had started the enterprise known as Rick Bulow, New Media.

When I started blogging I did not know how to do pages on a specific blog, so I started a second blog strictly about me entitled About Rick, which is strictly blog posts about who I am, my thoughts when not ranting, and quotes from my heroes: In other words, what makes me tick. It was on that blog that I had proclaimed myself a member of the "new media", though I did not know all that much about the new media.

In November, 2006 I had devoted myself to exploring BDSM, though I had done a paper on it for an online course in 1996 and gotten a B on it. I knew that writing about it on my About Blog would not be good, so I started a blog entitled Rick's Travels in the BDSM Lifestyle. I only have 2 entries in there for now, but there will be more written in it soon.

When I had initially opened my rant blog, I had only expected to rant about politics and other things I had seen on TV or heard on the radio, but on December 18, 2006, I had written a rant in which I had dealt with online and in particular a roleplay realm called Gor. It was then that I had decided to keep my rant blog strictly about happenings in the real world, and so I had started a blog entitled Writings of Gor. Granted, I had not written in that blog much. However, now that I had made a return to Gor I shall. Especially given what I had seen recently.

On June 21, 2011, I had heard Herman Cain, former owner of Godfather's Pizza as well as former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of KANSAS CITY, announce that he was running as a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in 2012. I started a blog which was strictly devoted to him. In that blog I had exposed a few false narratives spewed about him and highlighted his positive ideals. On December 3, 2012, he had announced he was ending his bid for President of the United States, but I decided to keep the blog open and running as Rick's Convervative Blog.

In September, 2011, I had been a part of what was then Cain Nation Radio (now called Conservative Nation Radio) as a recurring panelist over on a talk radio site called Blog Talk Radio and had wanted to go into talk radio as a host myself. I had asked the purveyor of Cain Nation Radio if I can have my own talk show and he said he would find a way to fit me in. It was February 26, 2012, that Red, Right, and Blue would be launched under the Conservative Nation Radio Banner on Blog Talk Radio hosted by me, and as such I launched my Red, Right, and Blue Blog. On January 2, 2013, I had been dumped from Conservative Nation Radio as they had decided to go a different path, and as such Red, Right, and Blue can now be found over on Own The Narrative.

In May, 2013, I had made a return to Portal of Dreams and to roleplay as a whole, and recalled I had a blog as a part of my lifetime membership. I accessed it and then decided to add a few entries on it instead of letting it sit dormant. Most of the items on the blog is some highlights from other blogs, moreso since I am doing some linkagery from a blogsite called The Other McCain, and adding certain entries from my rant blog as well as from my Red, Right, and Blue blog and also other blogs as well kind of like a smorgasboard. Hence, I call my blog on Portal of Dreams Rick's Crazed World.

In December, 2013, I had decided to take my writing on a larger scale, and as such had applied to work at a news site called Citizen Journalist News and am writing on a couple of sports, news, and also some cultural items.
