These basic rules apply to all of the General RP Rooms of Gor at Portal of Dreams.
1. OOC is allowed in pm only. Please keep your posts to roleplay only. OOC posts may be judged as actual roleplay actions in any combat or capture activity.
2) ~o~ is not recognized and use your true Roleplay name. No anonymous names.. The observer tag ~o~ after any name has no meaning in these rooms and will not be honored. Casual observing is not supported. You should come to participate in the active roleplay as a Roleplayer. These are advanced roleplay areas and not rooms that are appropriate for newcomers to learn. You must have a name to enter and roleplay in these rooms. You may not enter the room as anonymous or any of it's many variations. Nor are "joke" names allowed. Also, do not depend on your avatar to identify yourself since many people do not run with pics on. All MUST have a clearly visible name.
3) Respond properly to autoposts. Most of the rooms include autoposts to enhance the roleplay. These are actions that are automatically posted by the room, in yellow. The person posting just prior to any autoposted message is the person responsible for reacting to the message, even if they are involved in other roleplay, including combat. Others in the room may respond as well, but person posting prior to the auto message is -required- to address such auto message, and take any damage resulting from an invalid response.
4) Entering indicates acceptance of all rules. By voluntarily entering these rooms, you are indicating acceptance and knowledge of all rules, including those on the entry pages, those linked to pages, as well as PoD's rules. You also agree to accept all results of roleplay that follows these rules.
Gorean GRP Rules Travel Roleplay Rules (A-E)
These rules apply to all travel in the General RP Rooms at Portal Of Dreams that cover vast areas. These include:
Northern Forest, Crossroads, Waters, Skies, Southern Prairies, Jungles and Wilds of Gor
A) These rules apply to the rooms which represent vast areas of the Gorean landscape and when entering on of these either through the normal entry page, one must make a minimum number of posts before leaving that room. You may not attack anyone during the entry or exit posts, although you can defend attacks during the exit posts. No one may attack you during your entry posts.
B) In addition to the entry and exit posts, each person must make a minimum number of posts as part of the active roleplay in the room.
The entry/exit post rules are as follows:

*Parties travel at the quickest unmounted/human members rate.
**Injured parties add 1 to their activity post amount needed unless on an uninjured mount.
***Travelers may subtract 1 from their activity post needed if traveling near their home.

C) Again just to clarify: there is NO entering and pouncing. No kills, attacks, or captures will be honored upon the an entry post. You MUST travel into the room before joining any activity zone, an ongoing battle, etc. You MUST exit properly before being safely outside as well.
D) If you enter one of the GRP rooms, you MUST engage in roleplay within that room. The rooms are not designed for observing, therefore you must start to roleplay within the room. Travel into the room is mandatory with the required number of posts.
E) Use of pulldowns is mandatory. These areas are defined by the location pulldowns and represent relatively large areas. Use these location pulldowns to indicate your general location within these vast areas. These locations will be used to determine validity of all roleplay.
You must make at least TWO posts in each location you enter.
