Rights & Responsibilities of Gorean Site Chatters
1. Chatters are expected to be aware of and abide by all Portal of Dreams site rules.
2. Chatters are responsible to know and follow all rules for individual rooms in which they participate.
3. Chatters are expected to treat all site owners, management, administrative staff, the Gorean site lead and site assistant, site moderators, room controllers, and other chatters with polite respect in all interactions, including private/public conversations with each other in rooms, and on the Portal of Dreams message boards.
4. Chatters have both the right and responsibility to report harassment to their room controllers.
5. Chatters have the right to expect to be treated with polite respect by everyone.
6. Chatters have the right to politely voice disagreement with each other, room controllers, the Gorean site lead, assistant lead, and Gorean site administrator, in role-play rooms and site message boards. If the disagreement cannot be resolved reasonably, chatters have the right to seek a role-play room or Portal of Dreams role-play site that is a more suitable environment for their needs.
1. Room controllers are responsible for being aware of, abiding by, and enforcing all Portal of Dreams site rules without fail and in a fair, unbiased manner.
2. Room controllers and room moderators are responsible to strive to represent Portal of Dreams – Gor in a positive light at all times.
3. Room controllers both have the right to, and are responsible for, establishing the rules and expectations for their individual rooms and consistently enforce them in a fair, unbiased manner.
4. Room controllers are responsible for keeping open lines of communication with the Gorean site administrator, site lead, assistant site lead, chatters, and each other by checking the Portal of Dreams - Gor message boards on a regular basis.
5. Room controllers and room moderators are expected to treat all site owners, management, administrative staff, the Gorean site lead and site assistant, site moderators, other room controllers, and chatters with polite respect in all interactions, including private/public conversations with each other in rooms and on the Portal of Dreams message boards.
6. Room controllers are responsible to take all reports of chatter harassment seriously and investigate them appropriately. Room controllers are responsible for doing their part to keep the Portal of Dreams - Gor site harassment-free.
7. Room controllers and room moderators have the right to expect to be treated with polite respect by everyone.
8. Room controllers and room moderators have the right to politely voice disagreement with the Gorean site administrator, site lead, assistant site lead, and each other.
9. Room controllers and room moderators have the right to politely voice disagreement with chatters in their rooms. If the disagreement cannot be resolved reasonably, room controllers have the right to ask chatters to leave their room. If a chatter refuses to adhere to the rules of the owned room, the room controller and room moderators may boot the chatter from the room (maximum boot time = 30 minutes).
1. The Gorean Site Team will abide by and enforce all Portal of Dreams site rules without fail in an unbiased manner.
2. The Gorean Site Team will strive to represent Portal of Dreams – Gor in a positive light at all times.
3. The Gorean Site Team will assist in enforcing the rules of individual rooms when room controllers are unavailable or have exhausted their options. The Gorean Site Team will assist site moderators in enforcing the rules of the Gorean general role-play rooms. The Gorean Site Team will not make role-play judgments or interfere in any role-play judgment in any room (owned or general role-play).
4. The Gorean Site Team will help facilitate the smooth operation and positive growth of Portal of Dreams - Gor.
5. The Gorean Site Team will be available to answer questions and to assist room controllers, site moderators, and chatters with issues related to Portal of Dreams site rules and Portal of Dreams - Gor general role-play room rules.
6. The Gorean Site Team will handle issues in a competent, informed, prompt, and professional manner.
7. The Gorean Site Team will treat all site owners, management, administrative staff, the Gorean site lead and site assistant, site moderators, other room controllers, and chatters with polite respect in all interactions, including private/public conversations with each other in rooms, and on the Portal of Dreams message boards.
8. The Gorean Site Team is responsible to take all reports of chatter harassment seriously and investigate them appropriately. The Gorean Site is responsible for doing its part to keep Portal of Dreams - Gor harassment-free.
9. The Gorean Site Team will keep open lines of communication with each other, site management and owners, room controllers, and role-players by checking the Portal of Dreams message boards and site emails on a regular basis.
10. The Gorean Site Team has the right to expect to be treated with polite respect by everyone.
11. The Gorean Site Team has the right to be afforded a reasonable amount of patience from site owners and management, other administrative staff, room controllers, and chatters in resolving issues that occur within Portal of Dreams - Gor, including the approval/modification/denial of new room concepts.
