Gorean Common Sense

- Dualling is not condoned. Gor means homestone and you can only belong to one according to the books of Gor.

- Death of characters and names. Gor does not have undead or zombies and therefore the use of a character that was killed in html will not be allowed. When creating or playing a new character, you are restricted from using a name you have used in the past and that was killed.

- NPCs (Non-Played Characters). NPCs are allowed to enhance roleplay but cannot be used to kill, capture or maim a PC (Played Character) in any of our GRP rooms with the exception of the cagings in the Bazaar and Fair during season. Some latitude is given to room leaders for the use of NPCs in their homes but PoD will not support the use of them to kill or permanently maim a PC (Played Character).

- Gor Site Mirror Rule.Like many of our homes on PoD Gor, our realm itself makes use of a mirror zone policy.
If our Goreans are not permitted to do it on your site, then you are restricted from doing such on ours.

Possible examples:

  • 1. Collaring/capturing - If PoD Goreans are not capable of going to your Gorean venue(including places similar to, IRC style chat, Second Life) and doing the same, you may not do it on PoD Gor.
  • 2. Killing - If PoD Goreans are not capable of going to your Gorean venue and kill people than you may not do it on PoD Gor. The same applies if a PoD Gorean's killing of your character on PoD would not be honored in your venue, than your kills on PoD Gor will not be acknowledged either.

    - Captures and Escapes. Must always be judged unless FULLY* accepted by all involved parties.

  • *1. For escapes - This means BOTH the captor/owner/warder and the escapee agree it is valid.
  • *2. For captures - This means the capturing party, and the captive BOTH agree the capture is valid.
