IN-ROOM Full Configuration:
We have revamped the in-room configuration! We now have 3 tabs available when you enter into Full Config, 2 of them available for ALL users:
- Full Config Features:
--- Ignore: Click on any user currently in the room and that is populating that list and it will highlight them. To UNignore them, you must Cntrl+Click.
--- Verbose: Checkmark this box for a horizontal line to show between every post
--- Disable all pictures: Checkmark this box and you will not see avatars or posted graphics in the room.
--- Autoscroll: Checkmark this box if you want the room to scroll on its own. Uncheck it if you wish to scroll at your own leisure to read longer posts or stop on a post you wish to respond to.
--- Display messages: This can be changed from default of 20 up to 99 so that you may review posts as far back as ones made 99 posts ago!
--- Refresh seconds: This is only needed by those in our rooms via WebTV.
--- No Avs: Checkmarking this box disables avatars but you can still view graphics posted in the room.
--- No PMs: Checkmarking this box disables the Private Messages function so that noone may send you a whisper.
--- Enable Moderator: Checkmarking this box enables moderating features IF you are set up to be a moderator.
--- Mood: This dropdown allows you to change your mood at will.
--- Change Screen Name: Allows you to enter the full coding for a different set of tags or to adjust the tags you are currently using.
- Tag Generator:
--- Using this tab will walk you through creating a new or different set of tags, coding them for you!
- Toolbox HELP Features:
--- Call a Mod: Clicking on this brings up a new window for you to put a Mod Ticket in. Fill out the ticket and send it through and help will be on the way soon!
--- Rules: Clicking on this brings up a new window with our PoD Site Rules.
- Toolbox SMILEYS:
--- There are 3 panels of fun smileys you can click on and post in the rooms!
- Toolbox WHOCHAT:
--- A quick and easy way to pull up another window showing any of our 6 whochats.
- Click to LISTEN:
--- Clicking on this button brings up our Dreamscape Radio Station in a separate and small java window. Our DJs are on air at various times and often in rooms promoting our events. They take requests and dedications and put on some excellent shows for your listening pleasure while roleplaying.
- FIVE (5) Buttons:
--- Clicking on Whochat will take you to the main PoD whochat.
--- Clicking on Forums will take you to the set of forums dedicated to the site you are clicking from.
--- Clicking on Members will take you to the Member Area to log in.
--- Clicking on Editor will take Room Leaders to the Editor area to log in and make changes to their rooms.
--- Clicking on CONTACTS takes you to a page where you can apply to be a part of our mod team, apply to have your room on PoD or send a direct message to Blinky or myself as well as any and all of our wonderful teams.
- LINKS at top of Whochats:
--- You can navigate to the whochats of any of our sites by clicking on their names!
--- Clicking on Important Site Rules & Information will take you to a page full of goodies! Anything and everything you want to know about Portal of Dreams, its rules, its sites, its genres and what we have to offer can be found here, including: Member Blogs to read, Member Private rooms, PoD Store, Dreamscape Radio request page, and much much more!!
