Lifestyles Room Approval Criteria

Criteria for room proposals:

1. The room must contain some aspect of the lifestyle.

2. The Room Controller/Leader must have and maintain a paid membership at PoD for the duration of the existence of their room. (or obtain one within a reasonable amount of time after the room goes on the who chat.)

3. The room must have at least 4 commited members, including the room leader, commited members do not need to have memberships.

4. Rooms accepted to this section will adhere to the SSC or RACK rules, the only exception to the rule being for rooms in the Roleplay section.
  • a. In order to be considered as a Roleplay room in this section, the room concept must have an intent for highly sexual situations, which would prevent it's inclusion in other areas of the site.

  • b. Roleplay rooms are required to warn of graphic violence and highly taboo or risque roleplay within their room rules.


    •  5. Must not violate any of the common sense rules of the lifestyle community and the chatsite rules, which include but are not limited to:

  • A: No bestiality; sex with animals is against the law and we strictly adhere to those rules in our community.

  • B: No age play that involves minors under the age of 18, violation of this rule, if discovered, will cause immediate removal of your room, we have a strict no tolerance policy.
    Along the same lines, you must be of legal age to run a chatroom on the lifestyles site and on Portal of Dreams in general. If you are found to be in violation of this rule, you will have your room removed and you will consequently be banned for life from the chatsite.

  • C:Please note on your front page a warning to chatters if your room will have graphic violence, rape scenes, or any of the other more uncommon fetishes.


    •  6. Written rules must be provided for review in one of the following formats: a front page with rules displayed, a link or post on the room's message board that is publically accessible, or within the application itself.

    7. Provide a summary of the room's concept to be reviewed by staff before approval will be granted in order to help us to determine if the room concept will fit with the theme of the section.

    8. Must have their room staff (room leader and room mod/s) planned in advance and submitted to the team.
